Costs are externalized because the state intentionally neglects to enforce certain property laws, denying rights to people is little different in effect to handing privileges to corporations and thus this a form of state interventionism. Capitalism is not the cause, the ultimate cause is the prevailing belief among the population in fruity leftist ideologies because it leads people to develop a blind love of the state.

estimated 10.8 million still here and the govt reportedly can only afford to deport 400k a year. That would mean it would take 27 years or so to get rid of all illegal citizens. We should double the funding allocated to deportation to raise the number to 800k (13.5 years), or alternatively give amnesty to the ones with clean records and start taxing them like regular citizens.

If you read both links you would understand that the deportation rate has been rising as their overall number has decreased. Thus the natural conclusion would be that the deportations would take up a greater proportion of overall illegal aliens...
Honestly as a first generation American I find this assertion to be completley absurd. My parents were both Italian citizens and I was born and raised here in the US. My loyalty is tied to this nation and I could not imagine it any other way. Even growing up in a family which was wealthy enough to afford near yearly trips to Italy for extended periods of time did not make me loyal to my country of ancestry. In none of my interactions with first generations Americans of Latin American ancestry have I ever felt that they were loyal to their state of ancestry, they're so far removed from the countries their parents immigrated from that they have no interest in hurting US interests in favor of foreign ones. Your claim is unfounded xenophobic conjecture and does not add strength to your argument.

I said it was an unfounded claim that the children of latin american parents are loyal to a country they likely have never been to when they've spent their whole lives here. The parents immigrate here for better opportunities just like the chinese, irish, and italians before them (irish and italians weren't even considered white for some time)

I'm actually very moderate and formerly considered myself libertarian. However I believe in moderate regulation to ensure safety and taxes to maintain public infrastructure. So no, you're wrong.
And most groups from most parts of the world assimilate jsut fine and live nice peaceful lives. Even Muslims give the US less grief than Mexicans do. And MExicans very much raise their kids to be loyal to Mexico.

This isn't a false dichotomy, I agree, some Mexicans do just want to live their lives and enjoy superior American freedom just like your ancestors who came to America, these are the legal immigrants, however there are about as many of these immigrants as there are from Russia or India. Most are just opportunists, criminals in Russia and India can't hop the border because it's 1000s of miles away across an ocean, criminals in Mexico just have to agree to mule cocaine for a free trip across.
