Honestly as a first generation American I find this assertion to be completley absurd. My parents were both Italian citizens and I was born and raised here in the US. My loyalty is tied to this nation and I could not imagine it any other way. Even growing up in a family which was wealthy enough to afford near yearly trips to Italy for extended periods of time did not make me loyal to my country of ancestry. In none of my interactions with first generations Americans of Latin American ancestry have I ever felt that they were loyal to their state of ancestry, they're so far removed from the countries their parents immigrated from that they have no interest in hurting US interests in favor of foreign ones. Your claim is unfounded xenophobic conjecture and does not add strength to your argument.
