>>1 if they were in jail for it they probably won't be posting about it, but I haven't heard of anyone being charged with anything piracy related.

ACTA is still in the drafting phase. It has not been enacted anywhere. Besides, the very nature of the so-called treaty is illegal. If it doesn't fall apart in the coming months (which seems a real possibility), it will crumble as soon as any one nation throws a fit about it.

The fact you can't spell digital correctly leads me to the conclusion you are 13 years old and can do nothing about ACTA.

Uh... ACTA is available as a PDF that one may easily find through the Wikipedia article on ACTA.

Have any of you actually read the damned thing?

So FINALLY, they have their ready version http://www.international.gc.ca/trade-agreements-accords-commerciaux/assets/pdfs/acta-crc_apr15-2011_eng.pdf

...to be ratified this summer in the European parliament. We wouldn't have got even any warning of the coming agreement nor would there have been any pressure on the legislators to eliminate some of the harshest wordings indicated by Wikileaks and other sources, all the way back from 2007.

Apart from the participating governments, an advisory committee of large US-based multinational corporations was consulted on the content of the draft treaty,[29] including the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America[7] and the International Intellectual Property Alliance[30] (which includes the Business Software Alliance, Motion Picture Association of America, and Recording Industry Association of America).

Don't change these.
