Seeing as how we've been told there was a magnitude 7+ earthquake in Haiti, and seeing as how Haiti and the Dominican Republic are side by side sharing the tiny island of Hispaniola which is only a few miles across--in fact, Haiti only occupies the little nub at the western end of an island only a couple hundred miles long, is any of you wondering why we aren't seeing anything on the televitz telling us about the poor suffering Dominicans?

Why is it that people find it so hard to find order in chaos? Why is it that there are bottle necks in haiti getting supplies from the airport to the hospitals?
Because people with ADHD are abused and under appreciated.
For me the first thing I would ask for are french speakers. French doctors would be great. Also french soldiers. Non-lethal weaponry would be third. But food, water and medicine would be 1.5 thing that I would ask for... Medicine with the doctors and food with the soldiers.
How does everyone feel about the fact that the American government is giving 100 million dollars to Haiti, while other Americans are still recovering from hurricane Katrina. Or how about our own ghettos and trailer parks? Shouldn't the government help their own people first?
I even noticed that African governments are sending aids to Haiti.

Dominican neighbor is also on the western half of island. Earthquake epicenter was to the north-east.

Port au Prince is near a fault line. It's actually been destroyed twice before in 1751 and 1770, while it was still under the rule of the French.
