What? Communism has nothing to do with this. This is not the 1950s and McCarthyism. I don't agree with Ted Kennedy's philosophy (I'm for smaller government), but certainly that disagreement doesn't warrant jerkface activity.

There was nothing wrong with the Civil Rights movement. Black people in the American south were having their liberty subjugated by unfair apartheid laws in a country founded on the principal of "All men are created equal".

As for the Chappaquiddick incident, I can't say much about that. I'll have to read and look into that particular event.

Heh, this is something new that I've heard. Do you have any sources to cite? Because if he did have a hand in disrupting the larger movement, then that is definitely something I'd like to read more into.
