Apparently Australia doesn't have a Bill Of Rights because:

Australians have never enjoyed that freedom. We don't even really have a written "right to free speech". We have a right to political free speech, but it ain't really the same as a Bill of Rights. Same as why the government was able to take most of our gun rights away. Because we never really had a "right" to own them like the Americans claim.
