Prostitution should be legal.

Prostitution could be regulated, taxed, and controlled better if it was to be legalized. The government could gain a substantial amount of money from taxing prostitution, help cut down on rape/violence involving prostitutes, and reduce the number of hookers with STDs. Usually, a prostitute's mistress's word is law to them, meaning all sorts of things. If the government ran whore houses instead of lowlife dominatrixes, then prostitutes (and their customers) would be much better off. Some mistresses force their girls to fuck customers raw, increasing the risk of getting an STD or even becoming pregnant, which can negatively affect many more people. There's nothing that can be done about this since it is a shady and illegal business right now.

Prostitution may not be pathetic, but at least we can try to profit off of it. Right?

Take a peeping tom who likes to take upskirt shots of women in public. He keeps them in a private collection in his home, never selling them or whatever, just for his own private use. The women he takes pictures of never find out, never suspect a thing, and so never suffers from emotional or physical pain.

It's victimless.
