Last I went to reinlist, you can be up to your 40s and still get in.
You don't 'beet' a draft, you suck it down and go fight for your freedoms, or you go be a bitch and run off. If you're needed, you go. Best thing to do if you don't want to fight is pre-empt the draft by enlisting in the coast guard.
