Who cares? Just because someone died doesn't mean you can take away the most fundamental of all human rights--the right to self defence and the right to bear arms.
Seriously people... People die. Gun-control is NOT the solution, it's been proven. Not only will it disarm law-abiding folks which COULD ACTUALLY PREVENT MORE GUN RELATED DEATHS....
So gun-control is not the solution. What can we do to stop gun deaths? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Nor should we try, either. The risk of dieing in a manner like that is a lot smaller than the risk of dieing in an auto accident, and we aren't banning automobiles.
Gun-control is the irrational product of a bunch of emotional people who are sad because someone they know has died from a gun accident, or because of some irrational fear. Nobody sane/rational gives a shit or worries about dieing to gun violence, and even if they did, the best solution, as already stated, is to just buy a gun yourself to protect yourself.
Gun-control and crime--how does it work in England? Read for yourself... link below.

Anyone concerned with women's rights should be concerned about politicians wanting to take their guns. News flash: Guns are the great equalizers. You don't need to be strong to defend yourself with a firearm. Logic then leads you to the conclusion that women are safer from rapists and other violent crimes when they HAVE THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS than otherwise.
As said in the article, the 2nd amendment of the US is great news for the 17 million + female gun owners in the US.
