Do you, yourself, have a "perpetual sense of entitlement" by virtue of the fact that you feel you are simultaneous;y "entitled" to good things in life and you "strive" towards that. So because of this you're "entitled" to unequivically judge everyone and everything around you. Maybe whites have a "perpetual sense of entitlement" which else makes them entitled to their arrogance? For everything you bring up about blacks- I could bring up about whites or any other race. It's fucking boring.
You think you're just "telling it how it is" or "making an observation" but you're not. You're just looking at the results without making any effort to acknowledge or indentify the social mechanisms involved with the perception of race. You're acting like the Human Condition doesn't apply.
Think about this: Trying to just simply exist as a human being and everyone telling you what you should or shouldn't do (or be able to do) based solely on the color your skin. When I say everyone- I mean whites, blacks- everyone. You pick up a book and stop playing B-ball = A majority of your own race hates you. You become "learned" and chill with whites = "Hey why don't you play basketball?"
You don't seem to understand that there's a 'damned if you do, damned if you don't' scenario playing out here. And you are consciously perpetuating a myth that "everything's gon be awight" when some of the hoods around me register for the local JC.
There is something seriously wrong with the entire notion of race and until we as a society are ready to sit down and see where race has benefitted us as intelligent beings- all of your notions of what entire cultures should or shouldn't be doing is entirely fucking meaningless.
