Dealing with stigamas? Being brown there are plenty of stigmas to go around, I just choose not to dwell on it and spend my entire life feeling that someone owes me something or wallowing in some false sense of self pitty. Instead I decided to do what I can with what I have been given and have done pretty well with that.
Where did I say I wanted to change everything around me? I have succeded in changing my own future, something many blacks seem incapable of trying, they are still waiting for someone else to do it for them, their perpetual sense of entitlement, they are still going to be waiting for their leaders or the government to lift them up while every other race passes them by.
Perhaps I don't know what it means to be black, so enlighten us are you black? I wonder if you even know the name of even one of you forebears who was a slave, but please do continue with you tales of woe and oppression.
As far as reality goes I think I am well grounded in it, it sounds like the black community is the one that needs to wake up and figure out just because some ancestor hundreds of years ago was someones slave it doesn't mean they can sit on their duff all day and cry about it.
Cause guess what in the long sordid history of this world, our ancestors have all been someone's bitch at some point in history, so if you want to ruin your life over some long dead old guy be my guest.
