Speeding tickets in Canada - any hope?...

Name: Anonymous 2006-01-31 19:57

Anyone gone to court and beat this? (I'm in Canada btw)
What are the chances? I never admitted fault to the officer and the ticket was given to me in a construction zone...

Then why do completely straight, multiple mile long stretches of freeway always have speed limits of 65mph?  Hell, you could go 120 in some areas of the I-5 and still be perfectly fine.  I'm not saying that it's a money-making conspiracy like >>17 seems so concerned about, but you've got to admit that a lot of the speed limits are pretty bullshit-low.

There's a street near me that has a 10mph posted speed limit.  Have you ever looked at your speedometer and consciously tried driving at 10mph before?  Utterly ridiculous.

>>20 "Why do you think insurance companies give away free radar and laser guns to cops? hmm the goodness of their hearts, yeah ok 9.9"
Well, now you're talking about the insurance companies being sneaky, not the cops/government themselves.
