You'd be surprised how many actually have no idea how the political system works in the United States. Usually answers I get for those who voted for McCain or Obama for questions like their policies and whatnot, they give me a blank stare. Half of them don't even know who their state Senators are, forget about them knowing who represents their district in the House of Representatives.
