He's the most polite guy you've had as president in a long time.
I agree that he comes off as very intelligent and polite, compared to the previous president. Of course people make fun of the "uhhs" he does, and his whole use of teleprompter thing, but those are distractions, I care about the cause and effect of his policies that are in place, not fake petty insults from the supposed "opposing party". There's an old saying "By their deeds, you shall know them", and the things he actually does and not says is what bothers me.
Too bad his citizens are fat loudmouth oafs without a brake on their rudeness pedal.
That's American politics for ya.
Too bad his citizens are fat loudmouth oafs without a brake on their rudeness pedal. Very rude, very fat people.
I'm guessing that you're referring to the various Tea Party movements. They're just upset at what's going on, but they're not going to be the ones that make the real changes, they're just the scratch on the surface and there is an even larger, more quieter movement. Those Tea Party people and their movement started out quite Jeffersonian in nature, but it's been hi-jacked by the status-quo Neo-con Republican party, and I'm not surprised at all by that.
They're rightfully pertubed about the government spending going on, but they don't really know what socialism is, and honestly what's going on is not socialism, but I see the country moving towards fascism, at least economically (merger of state and corporate power). With the bailouts of the big brokerage firms, Wall Street, owning parts of Citi Group, GMAC, GM, AIG, etc.
