In Washington state.  Authorities inexplicably murdered the mice instead of finding them good homes.

That's a shame. And Washington state? Heh, they're a bunch of methheads up there.

Animal murder? Unacceptable! Their institution is obviously corrupt.

What a headline.

That man, James Michael Tait, had previously admitted filming a man having sex with a horse in Washington state in 2005. The man Tait filmed died of internal injuries suffered during the incident.

Mr. Hands?

Yeah, OP, if they really care about the animals being "tortured" they wouldn't have just killed them like it was nothing. All these people really care about is that it's "gross".

I agree with you to a certain extent but the mice had their tails mutilated and shoved up someones assholes so do you still think they should have been spared?

So you can honestly tell me that used rather be dead than alive simply because something bad happened?

Killing then doesn't solve anything, now they had their tails mutilated and were shoved up someone's asshole and are dead, how is that better?

good point.

I know they are not human but if they were ans something similar happened you'd be suicidal. Then again such victims react differently.

I don't see myself ever being suicidal.

I view suicide as a weak act done by inferiors who deserve to die, but this wasn't suicide, the mice were killed, the mice didn't want to die, otherwise they would have just stopped eating or drinking or something.
If you going to rescue them and then kill them you might as well just leave them were they were, anything's better than death.
Yet, almost assuredly, they'll act like they're heroes to "rescue" the mice; how ridiculous.

But hows that different to killing for meat?

You're not pretending to care about the animal's welfare if you breed it to eat it.

Then again, maybe the mice were more mutilated than we're told in the article. If they had no arms or legs and had their teeth taken out, I doubt they'd have had much of a life ahead of them. Of course a mouse isn't going to consciously decide it's going to end its own life. It takes a lot of intelligence to override basic instincts.

Wrong, faggot. Try thinking.

Name: Anonymous 2010-04-19 10:39

relax guys, they're just mice.

That's completely unrelated. What the hell are you talking about?

>>11
Ridiculous, humans aren't the only things to kill themselves and it certainly isn't against basic instincts, in fact it is a basic instinct.
It's in there because if you see a bunch of superior animals around you, then your brain tells you that you aren't really important, this will usually lead to you dying simply because of lack of will to live, but if there's no danger(like nowadays for humans);
then it might get to such a point that the creature doesn't just put it's life in jeopardy trying to prove to itself that it deserves life, it's actively trying to die.

Comparing yourself to others of your species is a failsafe of evolution that allows the inferior to prune themselves, passively, or in extreme cases, actively.
What's interesting is that some humans don't have this failsafe, they can actually lie to themselves and believe it, whether or not this would help them survive in the real world is unknown, but it makes them better at working in teams and at sports, this is because they are mildly delusional though, and that should not be forgotten.

>>12
I'm pretty sure I view suicide that way, as I am me, but I guess you know better than me about my views, Random guy on the internet.

>>13
Tsk, tsk, if Micky was hear you now...

You said anything's better than death yet animals are killed for meat. How do you justify this?

Don't change these.
