You talk so much about programming, but you cant talk about hacking because you cant actually do anything. I run a hacked network of computers that I programmed to click on googles ads in my secret website. I even write my own viruses to make people get hacked into my network. I work at home and have a bunch of screens showing me what people on my network are doing on their screens. I can even set it so that i can see the code of their computers. can you guys do any of that? I dont think so. I bet you dont know where all the websites real hackers hang out are either? if you name them, I just might tell them that FairX sent you.

I don't have anything against hackers, they usually do something cool or funny, which is fine in my book.

I have a question, though, what do people really do on their computers?

Name: Anonymous 2010-03-28 20:41

Porn, banking, facebook, etc.

Name: Anonymous 2010-03-28 21:00

That's actually really sad.

Wait, banking, so you see all their bank shit? And you see who they are on facebook?
Ha, awesome.

Name: Anonymous 2010-03-28 23:04

This is exactly the reason why I don't do banking online or use Facebook.

SSL not secure enough?
No, it's not that. I mean you post info to Facebook. It's just this whole idea that people are freely and willingly wanting to put personal shit on a Website. I remember the days when this was a huge no-no; now it's acceptable.

I pretty much agree with what moot said at TED, despite that he basically said the same thing Shii said on the subject years ago.

Name: Anonymous 2010-03-29 19:09

no, ssl is not secure enough...because the electric pulse has to go through the processor and the chips before it can be read by software, jackass.

If you go through chips before it gets to the software which is loaded into ram or virtual mem which is on the hard drive, you can burn out chips or even over-clock the processor by overloading it by opening and closing more switches than it can handle...jesus I'm old.

ssl will overload your chips

lrn2comprehend english, refagtard. :/

ssl is software based, electric pulse has to move through chips before it gets to the software loaded into ram, therefore, the chips are vulnerable to attack...use the pulse to overload the chips and it doesn't matter what firewall, virus scanner, or whatever they have for software protection, their chips will fry way before the pulses are detected by any virus scanner or firewall.

Just overload the chips...you know, the cache? Everything on the motherboard requires the electric pulse to be specific with a tolerance range +/- watts. If you overload the wattage at the appropriate times, you can cause over-clocking to an absurd degree and fry a chip no matter how well it's cooled.

It's not hard, it's just 1's and 0's.
open and closed circuits.

That's fine and all, but this implies that someone is able to do this remotely in the first place. Unless they have physical access to the box of course.

Name: Anonymous 2010-04-01 5:33

>>33
isn't the signal that comes through the internet using electric pulses also to send a signal? You sure are limited in analysis aren't you? You can set up a small terminal to read out everything that is being mathematically computed from a remote terminal and just do a code break and send a basic pulse signal through the line to cause a simple irregularity in the cache chips...they are so small and puny the just burn up like an overheated resister. And it depends on what machine you do it to and what you plan to fry. You can be selective if you know machine language...do you want to burn out say resister 10? you can do it! would you like to burn out the cache chips? Simple! It's just like pinging a website...eventually it can't take it and the computer software crashes...but that's pinging of course, which is software anyway. I can send less than 10 lines of code to set off a chain reaction to burn out chips, turn off your fans, overclock your processor using your available ram, write-behind on your hard drives and turn your entire machine into a furnace. It's not difficult, it's just machine language, open and closed circuits.

Alright...now I'm off to bed...can only take ignorance and perplexed individuals for so long.

Yeah, well, the last virus that I know of that could actually brick someone's machine was the CIH virus, and that was during the Windows 9x era, which was the dark ages. And ohh, don't even want to think about being reminded of that!

You make it sound so simple, but really there are lots of factors involved than just knowing machine language.

Name: Anonymous 2010-04-02 6:25

it's simple, don't stick to one form, that is the ultimate weakness. Be pliable, be flexible, be adaptable in any given situation and you will always succeed.

A person does not simply do what they love; they find the love in what they do.
