Actually we use both, but the USA is filled with too many HURP DE DERP people that couldn't give two shits about the metric system. Sad, I wish we would because it's such a better system than the imperial one we currently use.

It hasn't hit 100°F in quite a long while here, however I'd say it feels better coming in from dead dog heat in to a nice air conditioned building than going from freezing outside to nice warmth inside. I don't know why.
