Serious question about racism

Why do a lot of black people act like they are owed something...whether reparations, increased jobs for minorities, etc... If it wasn't for other black people capturing their ancestors, selling them, and packing them on boats...they would not be in America to begin with.

Seems to me, in an odd way, that everyone should be thankful they are here and not worry about what happened 15 generations ago to bring them here...

Again, I am, in no way, racist...and never really thought about this until a black person brought it up last night

And if you really look at it, do you think they would even want to be in Africa with the way things are happening over there?
They've got war, famine, disease, you name it,

Also, why is ok for black people to degrade themselves by calling each other "nigger", but it's not ok for white people to do it?

It pretty much was used to degrade people who weren't white
in essence calling them subhuman.
If a white person were to call a black person a nigger nowadays
it would be the worst form of insult you could possibly use.
That being said,
I have no fucking clue what they're doing calling each other that name...
They've officially decided to try and "take back" the word,
it's quite ironic actually, this word was used in such a demeaning manner you'd think they would try and eliminate it entirely.
But yes, it is ridiculous, what they are trying to do is impossible.
For example, If I were a woman, I would despise the word whore, if I were to try and change the word whore into a word in which women call each other in a friendly manner...
well, you see where I'm going with this.
They are trying to change the word nigger into something completely different, and the longer they try this the more segregation and racism there will be.
The only right thing to do is to completely stop using this word completely, whether it be a racist comment or as a greeting or whatever...
