any tips? I've gone from 40 cigs/day to 5, but I wanna quit for good
not smoking for long periods doesn't stress me out like it used to
the few cigs I smoke are purely out of habit (after waking up, after lunch, waiting for the train occasionally, after diner and before I go to sleep) and they make me feel like shit :\
I should really seize the opportunity to quit now because I fear I will soon start smoking 10 cigs/day, then 15, then 20 etc.
I just can't break the habit :(
Don't buy the cigarettes in the first place. What you think you can smoke then, bay leaves in your spice rack?

Don't smoke any more cigarettes. That's how you quit.

Just try masturbating more often to dull the cravings

Don't smoke while waiting for the train
Cutting out one cig at a time is easier than five and it puts you in the habit of experiencing what it's like to not smoke when you normally would
when you're down to one or two a day make a conscious decision when to stop then do it for a month. After that month you'll be used to going through life without having cigarettes and it will be much much easier to shrug off cravings.
other than that you're on the right track don't give up

I like chocolate, but I don't have to have a piece every fucking 15 minutes. Why can't you smokers just smoke like normal people eat chocolate? If you want a smoke once every few days, just have a cig. Ummmm! That was great, wasn't it? Now go about doing what you were doing, and after a few more days, have another cig.
Or, setup a water pipe and schedule an evening for reading, smoking, and watching TV. Ummmm! Good stuff, right? Then go about your business for the next week until you get another night to yourself.
I swear, you people smoke like it's crack fucking cocaine or something.

1. Nicotine is far more addictive than dopamine.
2. Smoking often becomes a habit and therefore is habit forming. We all know how difficult it is to break habits.
Would have thrown in an insult or two about 11 being an uneducated, underage fag, but other than that couldn't of put it better myself.

thanks for the support, anons
you encouraged me to throw away my last 1/2 pack of cigarettes and my lighter
let's see how this works out, i'm actually looking forward to not smoking anymore and saving €100/month because of it. if i can keep it up for a year i can buy a ps3 and a hdtv from the money i saved!
