To Gove or Not to Give

Because /b/fails, I'll ask you guys.

OK, so I don't celebrate Valentine's Day.  I always figured being single on VD was like being Jewish on Christmas.  However, even though I don't have a signifigant other to give something to, I do have a couple female friends, a sister, and my mom.  Am I still somehow obligated to give them gifts?  Especially my mom, giving something to my mom on VD seems a little lame, but unlike my friends and sister, she's the type who would actually get offended at not getting anything.

The answer is no

You don't HAVE to give them anything, but if you think your mom may be offended if she gets shit all, then buy her something. Doesn't take a fucking genious, man.
Also, Jewish people have Hanukkah. So, it's not like they have nothing.

Just walk into some public place that houses your friends and tell them you brought chocolates. That's what I do. Some girls like it.
