would you like to run away to another country and not tell anyone where you went? and not make contact with friends and family for decades?

i personally would want to if i had the funds. i'd like to disappear and live like an ascetic and just find myself, without constantly wondering whether i'm doing better than bob and bill from my graduating class.

I did once move to another state where I didn't know anyone and didn't contact family and friends for like a year and a half. I went from being a total introvert, a generic living-in-parent's-basement type who had no real-life friends and hardly ever got off computers/video games to being a party person with a full time job who was friends with everyone in town.

I decided being an introvert was better.
