would you like to run away

would you like to run away to another country and not tell anyone where you went? and not make contact with friends and family for decades?

i personally would want to if i had the funds. i'd like to disappear and live like an ascetic and just find myself, without constantly wondering whether i'm doing better than bob and bill from my graduating class.

yes, it's true that we sail with a corpse in our cargo but distance is still something.

Hell yeah, I'd love to get away from every single member of my family. Assuming I'm lucky someday to end up with a girl I know--we both want to move to California--I'd be happy as hell to be there and start a new life.

And >>1, you can find yourself at any reasonable age. For me it happened at 19. Understanding yourself is easy, all you need to do is use your head. Ask yourself why you do things the way you do. There is a reason, and if you're honest enough you can admit it. And don't be like many women or most people in general, "I dunno why I do it... I do it just because I feel like it!" Seriously, that's for brainless, ditzy girls who "still love" their boyfriend who beats them. If you can avoid that you're well on your way.

The next step is looking for what you want in life. Once you take a look at what's been good in your life and what you still want, then you know pretty much everything about yourself. Understanding your motivations and desires is the key thing, to sum it up. That's how you "find yourself." You can do it anywhere, but a place free from the annoyances of a crappy family are indeed better. Viva California!
