fast food wages

if fast food is so popular and so many people buy it, why do the workers get paid such a pittance? i have wondered about this.

That's probably so the company can afford to keep reeling in the cash, and keep upping the price, and maintain min. wage.

My advice would be not to get a job in the fast food industry. Not even if you're manager. Sure, you could pound the young chicks working there, but that's usually breaking a few laws...

Min wage in Australia is $5... I started at KFC as a cook on $5.43 (training wage for 6 months) I used to work 8 hour fucking days. They pay that much coz they know people will work for it at 14 and 9 months (min age to work)

By the time I quit I started getting $8.45 I think- and that was 11 months into working

Concent in Aus is 16- but a 10 year old and a 12 year old can have sex if the parents say yes. Fucked up? You bet.
