fast food wages

if fast food is so popular and so many people buy it, why do the workers get paid such a pittance? i have wondered about this.

That's probably so the company can afford to keep reeling in the cash, and keep upping the price, and maintain min. wage.

My advice would be not to get a job in the fast food industry. Not even if you're manager. Sure, you could pound the young chicks working there, but that's usually breaking a few laws...
