Living in Australia is a double-edged sword for me. On the pro edge, the area I live in (Western Australia) is fairly isolated and doesn't have much happening. I'm a peaceful kind of guy, so I don't mind it much, even though it can get fairly boring at times.
On the con side, the isolation can really blow. I've been a gamer since I was four, and as I have grown older and gotten the internet, I've learned that Western Australia is very close to being the last place to get new releases in *everything*, not just gaming stuff. It doesn't help that when I tell people I'm from Australia they all seem to say stuff like "Oh, I have family in Sydney!" They completely forget that there is a MASSIVE western section as well.
Can anyone relate with me on this, Australian or no?
