Happened to come across this Japanese word today: 洋炉.
I've looked through various dictionaries (wwwjdic and Yahoo辞書 to be exact), but haven't found out what it means.

Does anyone know what it means?

Yes, in this context the 炉 probably does stand for something else. Google gave me this: 洋炉っていうのは、ヨーロパのロリってこと。Well, you didn't say "weird" for nothing.
