I think I found what it means:
その場のムード、ふいんき（なぜか変換できない）のこと。　この流れを察することを「空気を読む」といい、読めない人は「空気嫁（読め）」や「KY」などと言われたりする。言われても自分のことだと気がつかない人は、本当にどうすればいいんでしょう。ただし、その「空気」が単なる勝手な妄想だったりすると、言った本人が顰蹙を買うことになる。
