there are so many difficult and complex words, for those who can read 2ch threads how long have you studied japanese.

Can't understand them yet, unless it's one-word posts or such.
I've studied for about 6 years, I can read a page of manga in a week or so.

Holy shit, six years and it takes you that long? Have you totally skipped kanji?
I've been studying for about a year, and I can read most manga with relative ease (still need a kanji dictionary handy) and about every one in five 2ch threads.

Studied might be the wrong word for what I have done ;)

Yeah, I've been masturbating to Japanese porn for like 6 years too and I still don't understand a whole lot
I learned how to say "Suck my penis," from a 2chan troll. No joke. Reading the forums is like taking a few pages of posts from /b/tards and assorted noobies and jamming them through babelfish.
More like watched at the Japanese grammer book for six years? Been learning Japanese for 8 months, and it takes me 20-90minutes to read a manga. Depends of the manga, how much text there is, how hard the lanuguage etc.

Yeah, like "Junko loves cocks. She loves masturbating, too. One day, she found her son under the shower, masturbating. She took his PENIS and..."
Not so hard.

Trying to learn japanese on a fucking internet forum is futile. You will just be wasting time trying to make sense of jap net slang.

I know what you mean, it's totally fucked, isn't it?
I should have a fucking doctoral degree in ancient Japanese colloquialisms, considering how long I've spent studying the language.

Wtf, sounds like some people haven't heard of Rikaichan. Which is ridiculous, because before Rikaichan and imitators, gaijins couldn't surf the Japanese internet
2ch isn't filled with complex words, it's just filled with slang
Like to be a nintendo lover, it's ninsho or something (I forget) which if you read would be like pregnant so it doesn't make sense. The anime Bleach was shortened to buri cause they're lazy, then someone turned it into a kanji which makes it a fish. that fish hook kanji, Otsu is short for otsukaresama, don't forget when it comes to katakana, Japanese shorten multiple english words a lot to 2 syllables per word
You mean like how "what's up" became "sup", and now people say "soup /b/" and today I saw "chicken soup /b/"? Soon it'll be just chicken. And also there's "sauce" and a rapidly-evolving set of acronyms.
And suppose an ESL speaker masters that, and then has to traverse the old alt.religion.kibology archives. Totally different slang, and totally different acronyms; all their experience in 4chan would be useless.
