Can anyone understand 2ch threads?

there are so many difficult and complex words, for those who can read 2ch threads how long have you studied japanese.

I've studied for about 6 years, I can read a page of manga in a week or so.

I've been studying for about a year, and I can read most manga with relative ease (still need a kanji dictionary handy) and about every one in five 2ch threads.
