I'd like to see the users of /r9k/ use a separate board for relationship topics, though problems would arise from the use of 4-ch: (If those who post relationship topics on /r9k/ were convinced to even migrate to 4-ch in the first place.)
1. Most are used to the imageboard format and it would seem foreign to suddenly use an all text-based board.
2. I also use 4-ch, and I respect the place. And I can't speak for all the users of 4-ch, but I believe that most would not warm up and be content to the idea of having a bunch of 4chan users suddenly migrate over to their site. I believe most would rather have a small community with a high signal-to-noise ratio, then be saturated with /b/ spam and noise. (I know it's /r9k/ we're discussing, but /b/ crap manages to leak onto that board as well.)

http://dis.4chan.org/read/img/1233204985/9. I don't mind brainstorming ideas or discussing the idea of possible new boards to combat the issue, but whining and complaining and making endless threads about it here on /img/ doesn't do any good; it doesn't get anything anywhere.
