I agree, although I can see where certain fetishes (like loli) can make people uncomfortable, and thus would want them off their favorite website.
The isolation we create is, in my opinion, a sort by-product of our increased capacity to communicate. The internet, cell phones, etc. make it easier to interact with some text than a person, face to face. I get bothered by people who claim not to be able to live without their cell phones. A decade ago they were toys for rich people, now it's a major concern whether we let our 7 year olds have one.
Our jobs run our lives because we as a society made sure you can't take a shit without paying someone something. People who have more money than you can ever dream of would love to sue for having an idea similiar to theirs.
I think corporations will cause something more like "Blade-runner" than 1984, but that's just me.
