Not counting all the Minecraft threads, I mean, they're better than most of the ones on /v/, helpful and all, but seriously there are so many, its almost the only video game on the front page.

And I also went to /tele/ while /tv/ was getting flushed by that angry mod, it wasn't as bad as here, but still pretty bad. Like, the topics are actually WORSE than what you'd find on /v/ or /tv/. Maybe its because the spam and shit 404's in less than an hour on the image-boards, maybe its because 4chan froze recently, I don't know. But these text-boards do actually seem very helpful, but that's the only thing better than their image-board counterparts.

It just strikes me as odd, like /lit/ is (well, WAS until the tripfags from other boards started fucking it up) one of the best boards on 4chan mostly because its slower. There's like a direct connection for 4chan boards between the amount of users, and the quality of the board, but for some reason it doesn't apply to the text-boards.
I always thought /game/ would be like a slower, better version of /tg/ but nope.

This is a HUGE reason for the recent spike in dumbass levels recently.
This was one of the only boards up, and as you can see by the "BROKEN 4CHAN IS BROKEN" thread, people flocked here in droves. Some of them still attempt to troll here, without much results.

Not to be nitpicky or anything, but...
/games/ is about any video games, and /tg/ is mostly about classic games, such as D&D, Warhammer, and various other games from 95 and back (Doom, Quake, Blood, there's a shittonne).
Also, I have a Halo CE sever thread going, that is what this was like before all the shit:

Yes and no.
It started so that m00t and a few friends could share images at their high school or whatever, somthing like that.
It had a few boards, to start, such as random, and lolikon, but it also had text boards.
