I always thought text boards would be less shitty than their image board counterparts, like how slower and less populated boards are usually better, but no, you guys suck.

Anyways, has there been any memes from you me/game/ntos, or whatever you call yourself? Has there been any memes from any text boards?

Hmm, maybe I need to check up when there hasn't been any reason for non-regulars to go here recently, but yeah the Halo thread was one of the few good ones I saw. I'd play it, but my internet is, as I said, fucked up atm.

Oh and I meant similar to /tg/ because /tg/ is a slow board and is mostly on topic with better threads. I don't really care for D&D or Warhammer or similar games, but I wish /v/'s community was like /tg/, because I'd love to discuss video games the same way /tg/ discusses classic games.

2 questions though:
Do threads 404, like at all? Does this just act like other forums, they're saved forever?
And was 4chan originally a text-board, and then evolved into an image-board? I always thought it started as an image-board, I'm pretty sure that's the basic description of it being a large image-board, so it seems weird to add text-boards in after.
