Minecraft sucks

I got Minecraft (Alpha) yesterday. I played for a few hours. I made a castle, a dungeon, and a house. I realized that's pretty much what the entire game was. It's like Legos, but slower and you can kill stuff. If you're thinking about getting it, the free version is almost exactly the same. The weapons/enemies don't really add anything to the game. Don't waste 9.95 Euros on it.

I'm beginning to suspect that a lot of the recent fagginess in gaming can be blamed on people thinking "Well, if war is what it takes to become a man, I'm cutting my balls off today.". Even Duke Nukem is swooning over the government all of a sudden, so there's some misguided associations between war and manliness going on.

Minecrafts story is about a game already SET to a mature demographic, that used really foul forum bans to FORCE another demographic, upsetting a LOOOT of fans. Notch could have seen the kids and decided to make a kids game on the side, but instead he decided to fuck with his fanbase.
