Always get atleast 40 magery. even when you're making the fairest archer in all of britannia, get 40 magery.
you'll need it for recalling(as in teleporting to the guildhouse or whatever) because recall uses 11 mana, you'll need atleast 11 intelligence.
If you have bullshit intelligence then you will die pretty fast from mindblasts
Spellbooks never drop to your corpse, they will stay with you forever and ever.
DO NOT PUT THEM INTO BAGS IN YOUR INVENTORY UNLESS FOR SOME REASON THIS SERVER HAS BLESSED BAGS WHICH WOULD BE INCREDIBLY STUPID AND GAME BREAKING. newbied or blessed items will go with the bag if you die.

Generally try to kill big snakes and spiders from a long range, because they might poison you and poison is never fun butts.
Don't fight several spellcasting monsters at the same time unless you're confident that you don't suck.

another PROTIP: If you hate getting paralyzed by mages, buy a pouch and cast trap on it. It'll free you from the paralyze when you open the pouch, magic trap sucks so it won't kill you.
