Preview event was meh, mostly because you could see builds that are going to rock so hard because of unbalance.

That and the Dervish needs to wear less clothes.  Long skirts make her look like a bag lady D:

Looks like Death.

Other than the free monthly fee, I cant see how people play this game..

well as in more balanced then anything else out there.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-04 14:50

Hate guildwars, the culture and social norms of the players is based on not playing and generally ruining it for people who want some actually good roleplay gameing.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-05 4:39

Yeah, there are a lot of asshats in there. But then, so is real life.
Just deal with it.

Wait, what? It IS balanced. Ever heard of the term "metagame"?
If something gives you trouble, just stop them with the right skills.

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-05 19:44

if you have one skills, you are weak in another area,
if you get the other skills to cover your weakness you are weak in the first area you where triying to cover. so no its not ""well balanced"".
And i dont know of anyone who wants to be playing and have a party whit you 6 hours a day just to cover your weak point so the stupid concept of
""get a party is a game that's based on that lol"" to cover the part you are weak is pointless and stupid becuase sooner or latter you have to be solo, like any other mmorpg

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-02 4:48

>>16
fyi in guildwars, soloing is limited to running and farming, anything else and you'll have to party. guildwars has the most balanced gameplay you can possibly ask for in an mmo.
