Opinion much man?  You can't clearly define who makes good games and who doesn't.

I really don't understand the mentallity of someone who can so blatantly make a statement claiming that one variable can be so perfectly better than another, when the enjoyment of said variables are totally variant depending on who is indulging themeselves with them.

Please, try to think rationally before yuo make more statements like this, I'm not even trying to make you look dumb, I'm just telling you something you should know.

Uhhh...yeah.  Go back to your bridge now, troll.  And a word from the wise?  That glowing green stuff that grows on the side of the concrete under your bridge isn't edible.

Actually you can define who makes good games and who doesn't, it is simple.
Play a game, if it is good and playable, remember the publisher and developer, also (AND THIS IS IMPORTANT) the YEAR of the release, if it sucks, remember the same parties but just write them down in th exact opposite list.
PRESTO! With enough time looking into the entire library of videogaming, you will have a complete list with an accurate depiction of who makes and publishes what.
Of course, you can't directly weigh amerikan and weeaboo in lump sums against each other, they both make a huge load of shit and once had made some pretty keen ass shit AT ONE TIME.
Example of who made good games:
Electronic Arts in the 80s
Example of who makes shit games:
EA after they started engulfing development houses got lazy and instead of making their own games, became purely a publisher.

That's just to start you off, but using this you can so easily slam in a shitfuckington of entries proportional to the amount of games that have ever been released, and don't give me this fucking relativity bullshit, just because a RETARD thinks shit is pretty neat doesn't mean it ain't shit and that the fucking idiot isn't a retard, example: anyone who plays GTA past 3.
YOU CAN EASILY FUCKING TELL WHAT IS A GAME DONE RIGHT AND WHAT IS NOT. And so long as you aren't discussing the matter with a casual newbie retard, you'll find your findings and those of others (again, only the others that matter and know their shit, this cannot fucking be stressed enough) are suprisingly similar.

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR QUEST TO FIND OUT WHAT VIDEOGAMES ARE, WEEABOOS AND AMERIKANS Actually no wait, you're both retards, stop playing videogames and go back to watching movies please, I'm tired of your buying power shitting up the place, turning it into an industry and forcing the scared publishing houses at the top to churn out lowest common denominator bullshit just to turn a goddamn profit off people who truly do not know what the fuck videogaming is.

And use a database program like Access to keep track of it all.

If you can't figure out access, then turn your computer off and read a book, because you have failed at basic technology.

Christ, you missed the whole point.  It's fine for you to personally have a favorite company or whatnot, but in your original post, you called out everyone, claiming, "/v/ seems to be filled with people who know nothing."  All because some of them like games you hate.  Your taste in videogames does not determine the universal good and bad of videogame developing.

No matter what argument you throw at me, you can't prove yourself right.  So please just realize the stupidity you carried with you in your original post, and how much of it you still have with you.

>but in your original post
Just try and point out my original post. But for posterity, /bfaqs/ IS filled with people who know abso-fucking-lutely nothing, you ever read that shit? Tell me I'm wrong at all, I need a laugh.
>Your taste in videogames does not determine the universal good and bad of videogame developing.
Actually, it happens to do just that.

This isn't the thread for it, there is not and never will be a thread for it, it is a list for you to comprise of yourself and mainly for yourself.

>you called out everyone
because everyone both reads and posts on /v/, also as if half the people who go there don't feel the exact same fucking way.
>It's fine for you to personally have a favorite company or whatnot
YOU missed MY point, this isn't about favorite companies is it about KNOWING what is in undeniable fact a solid playable game, not some trite churned out bullshit to appease a mass that no matter how many times they try just cannot even begin to grasp the concept of electronic interactive entertainment in its core let alone its fucking fullest.
Knowing company names only helps make the process of finding out which side a game belongs in become slightly easier, no where did I say you should be a mouthbreathing fanboy who gladly eats the most garbage ass shit they crap out onto a plate just because it came out of their not caring about videogames asses.

Alright, obviously you're not going to change your screwed view on this subject, so I'm not going to even bother.

If you're not going to bother to read because you know you're wrong then why the fuck did you post.

Wow, a Final Fantasy VII thread turned into a good games vs. bad games thread. While they are intrinsicly related because of the love/hate relationship people have with FF7, this is getting off topic.

Now relate your posts directly to why people want to see another FF7 and we'll talk.

Because I, myself am off-topic with this post, I will make an on-topic comment. Personally, I don't want Squeenix to remake FF7. I have a feeling that they would fuck it up like nearly everything else they've touched in the last 5+ years, Enix side excluded.
