I need a good DS or GBA RPG. No bullshit tactical or strategy RPGs; I can't stand those. I want anything decent, the less swords and sorcery the better, but as long as it's not FFTA, I'm happy.

Just bored of it, I guess. I got Gradius Galaxies for $10 and wanna continue on the GBA/DS buying spree.

Golden Sun, Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, Riviera, and all the recent re-releases(Final Fantasy collection, Tales of Phantasia, etc). If you like X-Com, get Rebelstar: Tactical Command for the GBA (Tactical rpg? Yes. But then again, unloading a burst from a chaingun into the rear of an alien as it death screams will never get old).
Borrowed Golden Sun from the girlfriend. Is Riviera really all that great? It seemed kinda cookiecutter. FF stuff is too aspensive... not gonna pay $35 for FF Dawn of Souls or FFIV Advance, that's for sure... I'd rather pay $50 + shipping for a SuperCard and SuperPass and emulate the SNES ROMs on the DS for as many old NES/SNES games as I want...
Someone said Sword of Mana was pretty good. Maybe I'll grab that before we leave tomorrow (at 4:40 AM, flight at 6:40) or down in Florida. They have Gamestop in Florida, right?
I will hump the leg of the first developer that remakes SO or SO2 for the DS/GBA.

What about action RPGs? If so, get your hands on all the Castlevanias.

Especially since they're coming out with the Aria of Sorrow and Harmony of Dissonance combo pack soon. :O

Right now?
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
Golden Sun
Golden Sun: The Lost Age
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow/Harmony of Dissonance 2-Pack (but only for AoS) (Adventure/RPG)
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon (Adventure/RPG)
Tales of Phantasia
Final Fantasy IV Advance
Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls
Mother 1 + 2
Magical Vacation
Upcoming?
Final Fantasy III (DS)
Final Fantasy V Advance
Final Fantasy VI Advance
Dracula (Online) (Adventure/RPG)
ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat
Mother 3
Tales of Tempest
Magical Vacation 2
And I must admit that Sword of Mana is not very good. I actually forced myself to like it, but it has an incredible amount of flaws.

HoD is so bad, I'd say, "might as well go with AoS by itself". The better boxart is worth it more than HoD. ;x

HoD is just Symphony with lame bosses.
Although I laughed pretty hard when I saw the "Peeping Big." Talk about a useless boss!

I thought that the gameplay, particularly the spell book being combined with the items, sucked hard. It got annoying when you had to alternate between them, so if you wanted to use the Cross right after an ice attack, you either screw up and use it again (and not at all if the mana is out), and it kills your concentration.
Plus, it was way too floaty. HoD = SotN's lame little brother that strives to be like him, but isn't good at anything.

It's a fun game when you're stuck in the fucking desert for a year. Both are too short though.
