GBA RPG Recommendations?

Played most of the older ones but I'm wondering if there are any semi-recent ones that I might have missed?  Or maybe ones that are just coming out to watch out for?

Not so hot on tactical/strategic games masquerading as RPGs, but more along the lines of classic RPGs, but then again, beggars can't be choosers I suppose.

Sadly, when I actually MEAN classic, I mean PnP 2nd ed AD&D.  The problem is, only about 2% of people on messageboards actually know what I'm talking about.

You have to remember the audience that you're talking to is a good 15-20+ years younger than I am, so I have to 'dumb-down' the terms.

But yes, when I refer to 'classic', I'm talking about console RPGs (we ARE talking about a GBA here) such as Final Fantasy and such.  Aside from the Eye of the Beholder remake for the GBA, please show me a gold box game that made the conversion as well.

FWIW, I was playing hack (yes, hack the precursor, not nethack) in university.
