Super Robot Wars: PWNED by Uncle Sam?

Damnit, I'm really annoyed that not even ONE SRW game has officially been released in the States. Yes, I know, licensing issues, but if that's the only problem, why don't they just translate the Original Generation games? Are they afraid it "wouldn't sell"? I'm beginning to think the US is permanently screwed in the "strategy RPGs with giant robots" department.

I don't think he's scolding 16 so much as he's pointing out that it is in fact a sad situation the subculture is in. Breaking away from the EA best-seller groupthink only means that one goes in the opposite direction. These groups end up all buying the same shit, and waiting until the most popular person in their community forms an opinion before they make a decision.

Then there are the smaller subcultures that play specific games but always end up doing it with the same levle of insecure overcompensation. I love fighting games but god, some of the people I've played with...... they're downright creepy.
