Why? Does it make the animal any less dead? If they're going to fag about over their meat, they shouldn't eat it at all.
I can see like, getting a medium or a medium rare if you don't trust the chef, but there's no need to get a well done unless you're eating meat that's possibly infected.

Does it treally matter, you live only once. I say you buy the biggest steak you can, grill it with plenty of marinade and BBQ-sauce. After that, deep fry it in grease. Then eat it with a tasty sauce of your own choice. Have a beer with it. Go to your porch, sit down and say: "this is the living"

I like mine "with the dog cooked out of it" AKA No redness. Since I've been eating it that way all my life, anything not completely done tastes weird.
Though a little pink with some of the outside charred is good. a bit of charred meat on my piece adds flavor. Crunchy.(But not like a hockey puck.)

Actually the correct way to serve a steak is Medium Rare. This doneness will give you the most flavor and tenderness. All other forms are just preferred taste.
Learn to bbq your steaks how ever the fuck you want, or if you prefer bend over for your McDonald's veggie burger over lords plesure.

I can't eat rare steak...it makes my tummy sick. Not so much the fact the meat is still bleeding (although it is kinda gross, I don't like ingesting my own blood, let alone a cows)but I've gotten sick off of rare meat so yeah...thoroughly cooked please!

its not the site of blood, but rather people have a sanitation issue with rare meat, even if one do not exist.
All meat cooked to there proper temp, regardless how done it is is fine to eat.
I personally like my meat raw, but it hard to find the quality enough meat to get away with serving raw.
