Why is my win98 laptop the most stable computer I've ever dealt with? I abuse the fuck out of this thing, and it's still about as good as it was new. Meanwhile, I'm careful and sensible with my two XP desktops, yet I have to re-install windows every couple months.
what gives, /comp/?

Frankly I don't know. My windows 98 desktop kept serving up windows protection faults.

Yes. I even had Kazaa on there for a while before I realized how much AIDS it had.
Still the most stable thing I've dealt with.

You should put windows Vista on it if you are getting bored with its stability

I disagree completely. This thread and many others like it on this forum show just how far white people have come in the past few decades as a species and I whistled for a cab and when it came near the license plate said "fresh" and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I can say this cab is rare, but I thought "Now forget it, Yo homes to Bel Air." I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabbie "Yo homes smell ya later." I looked at my kingdom I was finally there To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air
Vista sucks. Micro$oft just dumbed XP down for the computer illiterate and offered a fancy PoS interface for those who throw down extra money 'cause they're idiots.
XP is fine if you're not retarded. OSXs are good, and Linux is good too if you take the time to figure it out.
