The MacBook Pro sells for $2000 ($1800 edu) with a one year warranty. Also, you seem to be implying that this software makes it "okay" for the user to allow their laptop to be stolen, when this is not the case. The software is to help recover the computer if it is missing, though it appears the developer helps you figure out how to recover deleted info if you're a newbie.
