Hey, I have a powerbook g4 titanium 550mhz. It was given to me used and with a fried internal harddrive. I have a 30 gb external that shows up in the mac os x installation program but after I install it I can't boot from my external what do I do. I also have the installation cd for os 9 if that is any help to me.

Is it a firewire HD? Only Intel macs boot from USB.
Is it MBR or GPT or something? It should be done with the apple partition map scheme for it to boot on PPC.
