Creating fake eBay and/or PayPal accounts?

Name: PayPay !tsGpSwX8mo 2007-01-24 23:20

Anyone got any tips on creating fake eBay/PayPal accounts? I intend to sell legitimately, but not paying eBay fees. Once the account becomes unusable, I just create a new one.

A bit of background about me: I've had several 100% positive feedback eBay accounts suspended, and nothing I can do can convince eBay to reinstate it. Just recently, I've had my 2 PayPal accounts frozen with my money still in it ($200). Obviously, there's little chance of getting it back.

So I want to (not) pay them back. I still have things I want to sell which I will send to buyers. However, I will not pay eBay fees. Never again.

Mainly, I'm looking for fake VISA/MASTERCARD debit/credit cards for verification purposes only (to enable seller account). Also, sometimes eBay requires phone verification, any tips on that would be good too (like can I get temporary anonymous phone numbers?).

I used to have lists of credit card numbers, but I don't have it anymore.

If you got any good info to help me with, my email is above. It's not my real email obviously, so don't waste your time sending virii etc...

Read carefully.

Phone numbers?
A)Read up on spoofing ANI.
B)Get some cheap pre-paid cell phone that uses something like a calling card. Get just enough for your purposes.
C)Use payphone

>C)Use payphone

I believe eBay can detect payphone numbers, although I can probably fully make use of the account before they suspend it.

I'll read up on your other points.

Ebay/Paypal suck crumbly, mummified cat shits, and cheating them out of money is a just and noble cause.  However, you will end up in assrape lockdown if they catch you trying anything, especially if they involve the USPS and charge you with mail fraud.

Name: Anonymous 2007-01-25 15:07

Just like they do with all of the people who use Ebay with actual intent to defraud people, AMIRITE?

Also, USPS is only a problem if OP actually tries to defraud anyone. If he sells litems as advertised, they can't really charge OP with mail fraud.

Name: Anonymous 2007-01-25 15:21

You're an asshole and I fully believe you intend fraud. Reporting you to ebay/paypal and anyone else I think would love to party van your user ass!

I'm not located in America so USPS has nothing to do with me. But yes, I can be charged with mail fraud by my local postal service if I do. I know this is an anonymous board and all, but I truly don't want to fraud the average person. My beef is with eBay/PayPal only.

>9
>Reporting you to ebay/paypal and anyone else I think would love to party van your user ass!

This is where the joke lies: Do you think eBay themselves care about mail fraud? eBay are in a position to reduce fraud and counterfeit items, yet they don't. They don't even look into reports by eBay members themselves. WE DO EBAY'S JOB FOR THEM YET THEY DON'T EVEN PULL DOWN OUR REPORTED ITEMS.

All they care about is their fees -> profits -> $$$ for shareholders. Buyer/Seller protection? Fuck them. They're a monopoly and they know it.

Don't even get me started on PayPal. I lost $200, many others have lost money in the thousands. While our accounts are frozen, PayPal are happily gaining interest on it.

Anyway keep those tips coming. I owe eBay $50, they deserve nothing.

Here's a tip from me if you are a seller on eBay: In the near future, eBay will force PayPal onto the marketplace. PayPal used to be an OPTION. Soon it'll be COMPULSORY. Their recent policies point toward this way, so expect it.

Name: Anonymous 2007-01-26 0:46

Sure I know ebay & paypal suck but that's the only game in town and no one forces you to play it.
4chan isn't a place for sharing potentially fraudulent info. Yesterday I saw pirateware offered to make high quality documents and ID's. It wasn't on 4chan thank gawd.
Just because ebay sucks doesn't give you the right to defraud it and anything shared on an open board becomes fodder for thieves.
I got ripped on a mobo I bought on ebay but I wouldn't respond like you're attempting to do.
You come in here with your tripfag cover and ask help to commit a felony? Asshole, GO FISH.

Name: PayPay !tsGpSwX8mo 2007-01-26 1:01

>Sure I know ebay & paypal suck but that's the only game in town and no one forces you to play it.

Indirectly, yes, they do force you to play it. eBay promotes themselves as a place to for your business to make income online. Businesses who use it may become successful, and become reliant on eBay and PayPal for their income (which is what eBay wants). Then the inevitable occurs: their PayPal account with money in it gets frozen due to "suspicious activities". Their business disrupted, and communicating with eBay is like talking to a wall.

eBay reels you in, and fucks you up the ass.

>Just because ebay sucks doesn't give you the right to defraud it

PayPal's headquarters got bombed recently. Obviously eBay/PayPal must be doing something very wrong for that to happen.

>I got ripped on a mobo I bought on ebay but I wouldn't respond like you're attempting to do.

If eBay cared about their users, things like this would be prevented. Apart from that, buyer beware.

>You come in here with your tripfag cover and ask help to commit a felony? Asshole, GO FISH.

Fine. I'll just bomb eBay HQ then, if that's what you want.

School teachers of America get TP'd. Obviously, they must be doing something very wrong for that to happen. Srsly, there are assholes everywhere you go. Generally, eBay and Paypal is a fine service. While they most definitely have problems, for the vast majority, they do a fine job. If a business does something wrong, the last thing I want to do is use what they provide. If you feel that eBay has wronged you, DON'T USE IT.

Fail.  Come back after you are no longer employed by them ploz.

Name: Anonymous 2007-01-26 4:48

Come back after you are no longer employed by them ploz.

Yes, I am employed by eBay. So? I dont see any problem. I embraced my user cheating soul long ago and I am happy together with my employer (who is an ruthless b/w boss!). We have a fucking lot of suckers in and outside of the business and I am pretty useless and unproductive.
But thanks anyway asshole. Go and watch your stupid anime shit while I go CHOOSE an account to suspend.

Surely the more ebay gets used the more the price should go down, as due to the volume of sales going on they'd make a fortune even if they just charged 5c per transaction, not matter what the value.

From eBay's point of view, all the more reason to increase their fees.

The key factor here is that as far as online auction sites go, there is few big alternatives to eBay.

No competition = eBay does whatever the fuck they want.

I'm sorry I can't be more useful, but I did get away with this pretty easily in 2003, where all they required was a credit card number to sign up. After paying some friends to buy some items and leave good feedback, I sold about $1200-1500 of fake merchandise with the account until it got bombed into oblivion with bad feedback and eventually suspended.

My two points of non-anonymousity were the credit card I signed up with and the fake name'd PO Box I used to receive money orders. Neither got exploited by eBay. I did pay my fees, however - to avoid eBay's ire. I made good use of the money, but NEVAR AGAIN.

Perhaps you should stop ripping off The Man and ripping off people. I don't know how much the processes have changed but it probably would still work if you arranged it properly.

Name: PayPay !tsGpSwX8mo 2007-01-27 2:07

No problem.

Yeah, back in the early 2000s, identify verification were pretty damn lax; anyone could sign up.

Do you still have a valid eBay account? If you do, make sure it is in no way similar (e.g. address, IP address, phone number) to the suspended one. Otherwise it'll be linked to your old one, and you'll be blacklisted (i.e. shitlisted).

I don't want to rip off people, only eBay. Besides, I have stock to get rid off. :P

At the moment, I'm just checking if it's worth getting new mobile numbers to verify with. Otherwise, I'll just use CC.

Is it easy to change numbers in SKYPE? I want to fake several eBay accounts.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-07 7:25

Yes skypein, but how can you tell if skype isn't forwarding your data/ip across the internet, waiting for the fbi/nsa/cybercrime to pounce? By the way I doubt you can proxy skype.

Name: PayPay !tsGpSwX8mo 2007-02-07 7:41

This is what I plan to do to get past phone verification. I don't believe eBay's phone verification can actually identify mobile numbers even though they don't allow it.

So basically, I just buy a cheap SIM card (with new number), verify with it, do whatever I need, get my account and mobile number blacklisted, then get a new SIM card (new number), and repeat.

???

Profit.

What do you think?

Name: PayPay !tsGpSwX8mo 2007-02-07 7:53

Also, is there any way for eBay to find out information about you based on just your mobile number?

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-07 11:12

Just use a public phone in another state or a stolen mobile. Since you're not registered as the owner neither can be traced to you.

Getting cc info nowadays isn't that hard at all,
some people do it by making phising sites, others trade them for low prices as 1$/cc, or root shells(on certain large irc networks), you can go lurk moar on them and get yourself a few valid numbers, especially if you have some skills and can trade with someone. Another way would be to con them, but that would be bad manners wouldnt it? as for phone numbers, i think cheap SIM cards might be the way to go, proxying skype is also possible using an application like proxycap(be careful with it, it can mess up your network stack if you have more than one NIC).Don't even think of not using a proxy while doing this, you'll either get v& if you live in AMERIKKA and even if you live in a poor 3rd world country like me, i've seen people get ddos'ed for scamming w/o a proxy and taking whole isp's down due to angry script kiddies.
