I formatted my laptop yesterday and I'm reinstalling all of my apps. However, when I try to install either Quicktime Alternative or Real Alternative, I get an error saying that msvcr7.dll can't be found. I didn't have this problem previously.
You might be able to just download that dll (msvcr70.dll? msvcr71.dll?) and throw it in the same folder as the application, skipping the .net update, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Sorry, I posted like a retard. It was actually msvcr71.dll.
Anyway, I downloaded the .dll itself and dropped into into WINDOWS/system and they both installed okay after that. Fucking weird...
