Gaim vs Miranda vs (?)

Name: Anonymous 2006-05-11 20:22

Hey all...

I'm bored of MSN Messenger and need something more awesome and less shit. I tried Trillian for a while, which was nice, but it seems that you have to pay to get the plugin/skinnable version, which I'd rather not do.

I hear that Miranda and Gaim are both ok, with plugin support and general handy stuff.

Anyone know the pros and cons of each, thus, which one I should go for?

I like GAIM best. It's well thought out.

I personally use GAIM and haven't had any problems with it at all.

GAIM is fuck ugly.
At least with Miranda, you can make it look pretty.
