I'm building a computer, and the board I picked up doesn't have a monitor input.
Is it possible for me to buy a PCI card with a monitor connector, or am I screwed?

Yop, probably screwed... Mainboards usually don't have integrated Video Cards. So what you need basically is... A Video Card ^_^. Those usually are AGP or PCI-Express (some older Voodoo-Cards were PCI I think) - so, if you wanna see something, it's gotta be a graphics card!
Anyways: There is nothing like a monitor INput, a monitor is for output, you know ^_~.

Yeah, I meant output. I'm an idiot.
Well, I have a free AGP slot, so that would be my best bet, wouldn't it?
Thanks for the help.

You need an AGP video card.

uh... is this a serious question? cos if it is, I really don't think you're up to scratch on building a computer...

READ A BOOK ON COMPUTERS, OR OPEN UP A WORKING ONE.

LOTS of PCI (not express) graphics cards are exist. e.g the GeForce 2 in my desktop. However whether they're still being made as much as they used to is another matter
A froogle search shows that, excluding eBay, the cheapest graphics cards are about £12 (I live in the UK)
I used to have a old 3Dfx voodoo card which was pci. No one now makes pci graphics cards though so i think you will have to find one second hand if you are going for a pci card
