Bit Torrent Clients

currently, my bitTorrent client, utorrent is slagging at a terrible 3.4kbs.

Does anyone have any advice on optimizing this so I can quicker and better downloads out of it?

The open-source model was derived from early open standards that came about as the internet was first created; look into RFC documents.

Not only that, but more than half the internet is currently run off of OSS machinery.
