Pride and Prejudice

I need to read Pride and Prejudice before class starts in about a week. I've heard it is terrible. I am contemplating just reading a summary or two, and some articles on her writing style. Do you think this would suffice for a college level English class test?

Easy, read the summaries and shit, then skim the book. By the way if you can't read Pride and Prejudice in a week you should drop out of college now.

Erm, have you considered that your friends might be complete idiots with poor taste in literature?

I read the Sparknotes summary and had no problem on the tests or anything.  shouldn't be a problem.

If you can't handle the real book, try Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I haven't read it, but throwing zombies in can't possibly make it worse, right?

That's what I thought but it's probably the worst book I've read this year. It's just Pride and Prejudice and the occasional "oh look zombies lol" without the lol.

haha even people who don't like P&P can see that it's bullshit (assuming you didn't like P&P)

Don't change these.
